TOPIC: WHEN THE GIVER DELIGHTS IN HIS GIVING

TEXT: 2 COR 9:7: Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Brethren, have you ever been in church when a special offering was being taking and thought like this came into your mind, “I have given a lot this month, and financially I am tapped out. Let somebody else do the giving today? But do you realize that if somebody else do the sowing, somebody else will reap it for you. Is that okay with you? Child of God.

Paul said “Let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season, we shall reap, that is, we faint not (Gal 6:9). Note child of God that there is a date schedule for your harvest but the only thing that will keep you from not reaping it is if you get cynical discouraged or impatient. When someone has a need, or a letter arrives asking for your help, ask yourself, “Could this be God giving me a chance to schedule another harvest? Note that, “offerings are not how God gets blessings to you”. As Paul said to the Corinthians, “Take plenty of time to think it over and make up your own mind what you will give. For God loves it when the giver delights in His giving” (2 Cor 9:7). Remember your giving” is the bridge to your future. God bless you.

Prayer Points

1. God loves a cheerful giver; Jesus makes me a giver and remove me from stinginess in the name of Jesus Christ.

2. Remind me or Lord, that giving is a bridge to my future in the name of Jesus Christ.

3. Oh Lord, May I not weary in well doing in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prophetic Declaration

I decree and declare that God will make me a cheerful giver in the name of Jesus Christ.

THE MANDATE DAILY DEVOTIONAL 5TH SEPTEMBER, 2024

TOPIC: HE KNOWS WHAT YOU NEED

TEXT: MATT 6:32: (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

There is a difference between what outsiders and family members know. Your children know things about you like what you have, what you like, what you do, that outsiders will never know. And it’s the same with God’s children, because we know that our father is rich and has great plans for us, our expectations of him are enhanced, and our confidence in Him is strengthened (Jere 29:11). But just because He has it, doesn’t mean He automatically gives it to you. No. a good father exercise restraints. He’s not only good to His children: He’s good for them. Often, He withholds things for a season in order to temper character and correct behavior. Then, when blessing comes you are mature enough to handle it.

When you don’t understand this scenario you can easily become discouraged, and turn away from him in anger, because you believe for something that didn’t come on time or come at all. But if your faith personal agenda, you will hold on to His promise, trust Him and wait patiently for the blessing to come because you understand that your Heavenly father knows what you need. Prayer Points

1. Oh Lord, as a family member remind me that you know all I need in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.

2. Oh Lord, may I never be discouraged because of delay to answers of my prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.

3. Thank you Jesus because I have come to realize that you know all I need in the name of Jesus Christ.

I decree and declare that the grace to understand that God know all I need in prayer come to me in the name of Jesus Christ.

THE MANDATE DAILY DEVOTIONAL 4TH SEPTEMBER, 2024.

TOPIC: WHEN YOU ARE TREATED UNFAIRLY

TEXT: 1 PETER 2:20: For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? But if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

Brethren, I want you to know that everybody you admire in the Bible was treated unfairly. And God permitted it. Think about Daniel thrown into the lion’s den, and Joseph, locked in prison for doing nothing. What did they do to deserve it? Nothing. Listen, child of God, “if you suffer for doing good and endure it, this is commendable because to this you are called” (1 Peter 2:20-21). Imagine it to be your calling because there’s purpose in your pain everything that touches you today has first passed through God’s hands, and bears His finger prints! He anticipated and approved it. What you are going through right now is preparing you to serve Him more effectively. Paul said. “At my preliminary hearing no one stood by me. They all run away like scared rabbits. But it doesn’t matter because the master stood by me and helped me spread the message” (2 Tim 4:17). Paul didn’t see it as enduring: he saw it as advancing.

Today, you are growing in grace (becoming more gracious), and in the knowledge of the Lord (2 Peter 3:18). You are in the preparation process. You might say, “But I don’t understand”. But listen to what Joni Erickson Tada said, “If God’s mind was small enough for me to understand, He wouldn’t be God”. Sometimes I can’t stand being in this wheel chair, but there God’s grace takes over. Even in that handicap, God has a plan and purpose for your life. So, brethren, whether God brings you out or through trust Him to work for your good. God bless you.

Prayer Points

1. Oh Lord, if I am treated unfairly because of your kingdom, I accept it in the name of Jesus Christ.

2. Oh Lord, make me to know that you are always with me in times of trials in the name of Jesus Christ.

3. I need the spirit of endurance even when I am treated unfairly Oh Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ.
