TOPIC: HE KNOWS WHAT YOU NEED
TEXT: MATT 6:32: (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
There is a difference between what outsiders and family members know. Your children know things about you like what you have, what you like, what you do, that outsiders will never know. And it’s the same with God’s children, because we know that our father is rich and has great plans for us, our expectations of him are enhanced, and our confidence in Him is strengthened (Jere 29:11). But just because He has it, doesn’t mean He automatically gives it to you. No. a good father exercise restraints. He’s not only good to His children: He’s good for them. Often, He withholds things for a season in order to temper character and correct behavior. Then, when blessing comes you are mature enough to handle it.
When you don’t understand this scenario you can easily become discouraged, and turn away from him in anger, because you believe for something that didn’t come on time or come at all. But if your faith personal agenda, you will hold on to His promise, trust Him and wait patiently for the blessing to come because you understand that your Heavenly father knows what you need. God bless you.
